Kids play with the new musical additions wired by Speer Electric at the St. Johns City Park

“It’s always fun to be able to help on community electrical projects, especially when it enhances the experience at a local park for the kids.”
– Spencer Speerbrecker, Owner

Speer Electric LLC gives back to a local community by completing an electrical project at a city park. Along with great organizations like Peter’s Sunny Day Foundation, Speer Electric helped to complete some improvements at the St. Johns City Park in St. Johns, MI. The project required underground electrical wiring with our directional boring equipment and wiring up musical devices. Several of the Speer Electric team members have kids that live and play in the St Johns community, and being able to enhance the parks the places they play at was a great opportunity to give back.

See the new feature in-action at the park by visiting the Peter’s Sunny Day Foundation facebook post, “Our final music piece was installed.”

While Speer Electric can’t help with every charitable cause, we certainly try our best to be good stewards of our resources and help our communities out when we can. Sometimes there’s a small community electrical project we can donate time and resources to, or sometimes it’s a non-electrical service opportunity we’re called to support. Either way, while we’re focused on doing great business and providing outstanding service for our customers’ electrical needs, sometimes we gather our teams to do something extra special. We’re grateful to be in a position where we could help with this opportunity.
